Sun West Mobile Modular - Company Background

Sun West Mobile Modular (SWMM) is owned and operated by The Wheeler family. Today, Dan, Candace, and Chris are at the helm. The company was founded in 1996 by its former president, Gary Wheeler.  He started in 1983 as Wheeler Transport, transporting commercial modular buildings and mobile homes.  As the business grew, Wheeler Transport began to set up and install modular buildings.  In 1996, Gary's sons Dan and Chris started working with him. Two years later, Sun West Mobile Modular was incorporated.  Dan took over operations in 2016 when Gary passed away.  The business continues to thrive to this day. 

 SWMM provides the full range of services, as its name implies, with a clear focus on commercial structures.

What began as a three-person operation has expanded into a thriving organization with a current staff of 13 individuals and growing – even in these challenging economic times and its “word of mouth” approach to marketing.

The Company’s management attributes its success to its insistence on quality performance in all aspects of the business, providing the appropriate tools to optimize productivity and the continual reinvestment, from its founding, into operations and staff.
